Walt Pachucki
President of TEAM Engineering & Management, Inc.

Walter J. Pachucki is the president of TEAM Engineering & Management, Inc. (TEAM). As president of TEAM he is responsible for the organization and operation of the nationwide engineering and management consulting firm.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Walt Pachucki, president of TEAM Engineering & Management, Inc. (TEAM), has held positions ranging from underground miner to corporate level engineer and manager. While with the international consulting firm of Dames & Moore, Walt participated in diverse engineering, geotechnical, and environmental projects for numerous clients. During his nine years with Nerco Inc., Mr. Pachucki was credited with a number of innovative managerial achievements. Walt's firsthand experience combined with his proven ability to work collaboratively with managers and government officials to increase productivity, safety, and profitability in addition to assuring regulatory compliance has been an asset for TEAM's clients.

Since founding TEAM in 1987, Walt has participated in more than 350 diverse projects for more than 135 clients. He has personally developed corporate and project management strategies, performed a number of environmental site assessments, and designed environmental impact remediation programs. Walt has also served as an expert witness in a number of legal cases. His familiarity with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and experience in interfacing with local, state, and federal agencies has enabled Walt to effectively navigate regulatory and permitting processes for clients. His projects have ranged geographically from the United States to South America and Indonesia. In 2003 and 2004 Walt successfully developed and facilitated the implementation of a global standard, long-term equipment maintenance management strategy for Minera Yanacocha, the world's largest gold mine, located in Peru.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Walt Pachucki is active at the local, state, and federal levels on committees and councils that work with natural resource issues. In 1995, in recognition of his managerial and technical expertise as well as his proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse interests, both public and private, Mr. Pachucki was appointed by the Secretary of the Interior to advise the government on issues related to the management of public lands. Mr. Pachucki has served the federal government in an advisory capacity continuously since 1995. In 2005, Mr. Pachucki was appointed to serve as Special Master to the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Inyo, for the August 2005 Court Order regarding the Lower Owens River Project.
